Pinnacle Environmental Services,
Inc. Ranks #2443 on the 2016 Inc. 5000– Inc. Magazine’s List of
America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
For 2016 Inc. Magazine ranked Pinnacle Environmental Services, Inc. at number 2443 on its 35th annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest growing private companies. “The story of this year’s Inc. 5000 is the story of great leadership. In an incredibly competitive business landscape, it takes something extraordinary to take your company to the top,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “You have to remember that the average company on the Inc. 5000 grew nearly six-fold since 2012. Business owners don’t achieve that kind of success by accident.”
This is the second year in a row that Pinnacle Environmental Services, Inc. made the list, coming in at number 1228 in 2015. Pinnacle was one of only two environmental service companies to make the list for South Carolina in 2015 and the sole representative in that business category for the state in 2016! In fact, for all business categories, South Carolina had just 50 companies on the list, with Pinnacle solidly at #25.
Although Mike Watts, owner of Pinnacle, is proud of his company’s accomplishments and the recognition from Inc. Magazine, he is proudest of its tremendously positive impact on the environment. His team has helped several
businesses find ways to reduce their environmental footprint and becoming Zero Landfill facilities. Basically, this is where a company’s industrial waste is treated, recycled, and reused versus just sending it to the landfill.
How does Mike account for the phenomenal growth of his company?
“We listen to our customers—then develop solutions that specifically fit their needs,” he says. “Most business owners want to reduce the amount of waste they send to the landfill. Our teams’ expertise can evaluate the waste streams of any company, then develop a custom program with environmentally friendly solutions.”
The first order of business when a new client contacts Pinnacle is to schedule an on-site Waste Analysis Study. Once Pinnacle understand each customers processes and waste streams then a plan is developed to separate and recapture recyclable resources and a service schedule is developed.
If you could peek into the offices of Pinnacle, you would see an organized and efficient operation. Pinnacle understands the importance of documentation. That’s extremely important when the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) comes calling. “We maintain a complete set of records, mirroring the documentation we provide to each company,” Mike explained. “We conduct on site audits regularly to ensure our clients have a complete copy, but we can fill in the gaps if there’s anything missing. We recognize the EPA can levy hefty fines for violations so accurate and complete documentation is essential. Our team not only provides efficient waste management services, we provide assurance and peace of mind for all our clients because their industrial waste is handled properly.”
Ironclad compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and superlative customer service—that’s what you can expect from the Pinnacle Environmental Services team as they work every day to earn the right to handle your
